Bio

Born and raised in San Francisco, CA, I came to Sacramento to attend California State University, Sacramento as a first-generation college student majoring in Biological Sciences. After completing my degree, I was hired by the Science Educational Equity (SEE) Program, which I was a member of as an undergrad to be the Activities Coordinator/Advisor. I worked my way up to my current role as SEE Services Coordinator. In this role, I oversee program operations and advising students in the program. Along with my role with SEE, I am part of the Center for Science and Math Success leadership where SEE is housed. Here I provide pre-health advising and administrative support to our grant-funded programs, the CSU-Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (CSU-LSAMP) at Sacramento State and the Research Initiative for Scientific Enhancement (RISE). As a member of NAAHP, I also volunteer my time as an advisor for the NAAHP Find an Advisor Service assisting those in California who do not have access to a pre-health advisor.
